These terms and conditions apply to all customers (referred to as “customer”, “you” or “your”) who buys products from Gisym (referred to as “Gisym”, "we", "us" or "our" in this agreement).
Gisym is an online pet shop based in Sweden. Gisym offers clothes and accessories for pets as well as pet owners.
Definitions
“Products” refers to any product or item available for purchase on our website.
“Website” refers to our website (gisym.com).
“Privacy Policy” refers to our privacy policy: how we handle your personal data.
“Terms” refers to these terms and conditions.
Acceptance of these terms and conditions
These Terms are applicable when you place an order on our Website. When you make a purchase, you enter into a purchase agreement with Gisym and are thereafter bound by these terms and conditions. By visiting and/or placing an order on the Website, you confirm that you are making your purchase as a consumer and accept and agree to the content of the Terms. Please ensure that you have read and understood the Terms before placing an order.
Changes to these terms and conditions
We reserve the right to amend the Terms without prior notice by posting the updated Terms on the Website. The version of the Terms that applies to your order is the version available on the Website at the time you place your order. We may also modify the content of the Website without prior notice.
These Terms do not limit your statutory rights as a consumer. If applicable law provides you with more extensive rights than those stated in the Terms, you are always entitled to rely on your statutory rights.
Purchasing agreement
After placing an order on our Website, you will receive a confirmation by email. Thereafter you have entered into a purchase agreement with Gisym. Please note that the agreement only applies to the Products confirmed in the confirmation received.
Your information
When you place an order on our Website, you will be asked to provide certain information, such as your name, e-mail, phone number, credit or debit card number, the expiration date of the credit or debit card, billing address, and shipping information. You must have the legal right to use any credit or debit card.
The information that is provided to us must be correct and up to date.
Placing an order
You must be at least 18 years old and a consumer (i.e., not a company or reseller) to make purchases on the Website. You must also have the legal capacity to enter into agreements. If you are under the age of 18, you must have your guardian's permission to place an order on our Website
We reserve the right to decline your order for any reason. We also reserve the right to cancel an accepted order if the item you ordered is out of stock, your billing information is incorrect, we are unable to deliver to the specified address, an incorrect price has been listed on the Website, we suspect fraud, you are under 18 years old, due to a Force Majeure event (see below), or if the customer has acted in bad faith (e.g., taking advantage of known errors such as incorrect pricing).
If we decline or cancel your order, we will contact you and, if possible, do our best to find an alternative solution.
Once you have placed an order and it has been accepted in our systems, there may be technical limitations preventing its cancellation or modification. If you wish to modify a placed and confirmed order, please contact us at info@gisym.com, and we will do our best to assist you. However, note that you may need to receive your order and return it if you change your mind after the order has been confirmed.
Delivery
At checkout, you will be provided an estimated delivery time, and you will get an update after your order is handed to one of our carriers – currently PostNord and DHL. The shipping fee is provided at the checkout, and the fee is according to our carriers’ rates.
Please note that delivery time might take longer during peak season and holidays.
Cancellation
Gisym reserves the right to cancel or refuse your order at any time if we suspect fraud, an unauthorised or illegal transaction, or for other reasons such as an error in Product information or pricing, an error in your order, or Product unavailability.
Right of withdrawal
You have a statutory right of withdrawal, which allows you to cancel the agreement (i.e., a purchase made on the Website) without giving any reason within 14 days. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the item(s). If your order is delivered in separate shipments, the withdrawal period is calculated from the day you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the last item.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send us a clear and unambiguous statement of your decision to withdraw from the agreement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email). Read our Return and Refund Policy
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
If you withdraw from this agreement, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (excluding additional costs incurred if you chose a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery method we offer). The reimbursement will be made without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the date on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from the agreement. We will use the same payment method for the reimbursement that you used for the initial transaction, unless we have explicitly agreed otherwise. In any case, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the item back or you have provided proof of having returned the item, whichever occurs first.
You must return the item to us without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the day you informed us of your decision to withdraw from the agreement. The withdrawal deadline is met if you return the item(s) before the 14-day period has expired.
You are obligated to pay for the return shipping fee. If you have paid for the Product, you will receive a refund through the same payment method you used for the initial payment.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Price and payment
Gisym reserves the right to change Product prices on the Website at any time. The price of our Products can be changed sometimes due to the increasing cost of materials, manufacturers, transportation, and etc. You will see the price information including VAT of each Product on our Website.
We reserve the right to change prices on the Website without prior notice.
We reserve the right to cancel your order if the price is not correct due to technical problems, human error or other problems. We will inform you as soon as we can. You will receive an opportunity to make a new order or cancel your order.
You are obligated to pay all the cost as shown on the Website when you make a purchase.
Payment information
We offer different payment method:

- Google Pay
- Klarna
You might be requested to identify yourself when you make a payment via a third party, and a credit check might be done by the third-party. Gisym is not responsible for your choice of payment, such as that a payment method involves a third party credit check. Please check their terms and conditions for the involved payment method.
We do not have any access to your payment details, and the details are not stored by Gisym.
Offers
From time to time, Gisym offers you special promotions. A period of each promotion is shown on the Website and an email we send you if you are subscribed to us.
News from us
If you agree to subscribe to us, we will send you news, offers or bonus checks. If you wish to unsubscribe, you can contact us at info@gisym.com.
Uncollected order
Gisym reserves the right to charge you 199 SEK if you do not collect your order in time, and the order is sent back to us.
General information about the products
The Products are not safe for consumption. All pets Products on Gisym’s Website should be kept away from pets when they are not used. Always contact a vet if your pets consume any part of a Product.
We provide high quality Products but the Product life spans depends much on the behaviour of your pets and how well you take care and treat our Products. To ensure that the Products last as long as possible, please refer to our Care instruction available on our Website.
Reclamation
You have the right to return an item that, upon delivery, is defective or does not match your order. If you receive a defective item, you must contact us and notify us of the defect as soon as possible, but no later than two months after you noticed (or should have noticed) the defect. Please contact us at info@gisym.com.
Gisym is responsible for defects that existed at the time of delivery and that you report to us within three years from the date the item was delivered. A defect that becomes apparent within two years of delivery is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery unless proven otherwise or unless this presumption is inconsistent with the nature of the item or the defect.
If you return an item you believe to be defective, we will examine the item and – if we agree that the item is defective – either repair or replace the item, or refund the purchase price to you.
Third-party services
Gisym sells Products for private use only. If you use our Products for purposes other than private use, we are not responsible for your actions under any circumstances.
Force majeure
Gisym is not liable for failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations if such failure or delay is caused by an event beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to flood, fire, earthquake, strike or other labor disputes, accident, epidemic, pandemic, war or acts of war, civil unrest, riots, actual or threatened terrorist attacks, or government actions or regulations ("Force Majeure Event").
We will contact you in the event of a Force Majeure Event that affects our ability to fulfill our obligations to you. If the delivery of your goods is impacted by the Force Majeure Event, we will reschedule the delivery to a date as soon as possible after the Force Majeure Event has ceased. Alternatively, you may cancel the purchase by notifying us of your decision.
Intellectual property
All contents on Gisym’s Website or used by Gisym such as graphics, images, videos, logos, information, etc. belong to Gisym or others with a license, and they shall not be used, remade, sold, copied in any way without Gisym’s consent. This includes trademarks, copyrights, trade names.
You are not allowed to have unauthorised access, modify or repair our Website, materials or information.
Applicable law
These terms and conditions are governed by Swedish law.
Complaints and disputes
If you have any complaint, you can contacts us online here or through email address info@gisym.com. We will always try and find a good solution for you.
In the event of a dispute, you always have the right to contact the Swedish National Board of Consumer Disputes (Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden). You can also file a complaint via the EU’s online dispute resolution platform.
Any dispute, notwithstanding the provisions above, shall be settled by a general court.
